(Disney, c.1950s) A vintage Davy Crockett Auto-Magic Picture Gun single frame projector. Harkening back to a more innocent era, this metal gun-shaped toy opens vertically on hinges to reveal a battery compartment, a track for film strips, a lightbulb to illuminate the frames, and an adjustable magnifying lens "muzzle." Pressing the trigger advances the film frame and activates the lightbulb. It retains its original Davy Crockett-themed box containing a form fitted cardboard insert for storing the gun and boxes of film.
